    Wire straps

    Does anybody know the reason for the 2nd hole in the typical wire straps being used to hold the wire harness to the fenders ? I have never seen the 2nd hole being used...

      I have found the first hole to be a tight fit when the strap is used for the hose that goes between the small block expansion tank and the radiator. I use the second hole for these. I don't know if this is considered "incorrect."

          I think you are right, 2nd hole for large hoses, small for wires...
