C3 (I think) Alternator Brace 3826928 Gr.2.317

Hockey Stick Question: I found this part and can't recall where and when I acquired it. It's NOS, stickered with PN 3826928. (The last number might be some other "round bottom" number, like 5...)

Similar parts are in Group 2.317, but no number is close, at least not in my 53-72 Corvette Parts book. My inventory entry says "68-69, not big block".

Is this a Corvette part?

Tom - My immediate response is of course, it's a Corvette part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aren't they all for 67 BIG BLOCKs? Unfortunately in this case if it's p/n 3826928, the Corvette has to be a 63-65 PASS (409)(exc. 62 amp., CAPRICE. No p/n 3826925 listed in the October 1, 1967 CHEVROLET P&A. BUMMER. Pete

Later, I found newer parts book that lists this number for 66-67 327, as well as for two other applications, one 66-69 427 with p.s. and also 68-69 EXC 427.

I suspect someone went deep into a "service consolidation" project, and listed all these in the 5-80 Corvette parts book.
