Re: Help:Trailer or Drive My Car to 2007 National
If you drive the car, you get the following benefits:
(1) You get to enjoy the use of the car on the road.
(2) You get mileage driven bonus credits to help your final Flight score.
(3) You can join the NCRS Road Tour and enjoy the company of fellow members enroute.
(4) If you drive FAR enough, you have a reasonable shot at competing for the Sam Foltz award as well as the Longest Distance Driven Award.
The downsides of driving vs. hauling your car are:
(A) You rack up mileage on the odometer.
(B) You increase wear/tear.
(C) You risk damage to the vehicle.
(D) Mileage driven bonus credits do NOT apply to the Mark Of Excellence Award.- Top

Brooklyn Techies don't Trailer Cars
Only kidding Joe,
If I were back to the NYC area, I'd drive it to Boston with mine in a heartbeat.
Maybe even get on a road tour.
The weather should be great by then, and think of all the waves and raves you will get on the road.

Re: Brooklyn Techies don't Trailer Cars
Joe,
You may see me on that trip. I was planning to join a road tour for the 2009 National, even though I have go to east to meet it. I only live 140 miles from San Jose.
You had me tempted Joe, to fly out to NJ for this convention. But with my work schedule this year, I just can't afford it.
Corvettes sure beat the subway.
