C1 Original Softop on my '62 ???

Gents, ...archives didn't help.

Been tearing into the softop today. Looks like it hasn't moved in 30-40 years. It sure seems like the original. I took many photos, then looked for the rear window date. The rear plastic window is heat sealed like the N.A. book says. I had to clean the stamped area to see what it says. Date is 1264. Is that Dec '64, or April 26, 61? Is this a replacement or original?

Photo of the stamping is unclear so here's a description:
"upside-down mountain" with 4 peaks, an arrow pointing down below it. Inside 2 letters "P" vert bar "C"(maybe "G").

AS6 1264(heavier stamping)

DO NOT RUB DRY

WASH WITH WATER

SOAKED CLOTH

The vinyl window appears as if it may be heat sealed on the outside. You'll have to tell us. If it is, it is not the one the General installed the day it was built. Sorry.

Agree with Dan--that immediately stuck out to me! Replaced at some time in the past.

Ok, Just by that datecode seems it was later to me too. And yes, the heat seal is on the outside. The hide-em end caps didn't look right either.
