              Thanks guys I'll email Dana. I think if would be great to have data on these unique cars in one place.

                  I went to Dana's wevsite but was unable to locate anything that resembles a survey form. It was all about the art work.

                      This one is registered to me. I met Dana Forrester a few years ago and he was starting a L78 registry. I sent him all my info but never heard back from him and I never followed through. If you find more info please post

                          I lost his E-Mail address - but when I registered my car I remember Dana saying that the next issue of the Driveline would contain info. regarding the registry.

                              Try calling him and he will send you a survey that you can mail or email to him .He has most of the info I have collected . Bill

                                      I dont know what Danas plans are but I am sure the information collected will not be a secret . The privacy laws prevent giving anyones personal information out . serial numbers ,colors , options , dates etc.can be given out .Cars , blocks & paper work could be reunited . I have collected over 300 65 396 vins. in the last 27 years . Any time I can help a 396 owner I do .If you dont want your vin & info included dont send it .Think about how boring this Restorer article would be with only a list of 300 or 400 vins. but with the option info.we could find out what was the earlist side pipes. when the block castings changed . how many didnt have radios or heaters,hard tops etc. .conv. to coupe ratio.how many or left ? not so boring now. Dana has most of my info and I hope he finishes what I never got around to doing ...Bill
