1968 Convertible Door Glass, One Year Only?

I understand that 1968 convertible glass is different than 69-up where the roller track attaches to the glass. Is it possible to use 69-up convertible glass with 69-up roller track in a 1968? Thanks

While looking for door glass for my 68 convertible, I was told by a number of sources that 69 door glass, complete with a 69 roller track, could be used for my 68 convertible. Fortunately, I was able to find the 68-only door glass I needed, so I can't confirm that what I was told would actually work.

68 glass also used early 1969

The repro glass you buy will be of the later 1969 style. You then also need to buy the later style metal channel that attaches to the bottom of the glass. I think that's all there is to it.

Thanks for the information. Looks like the later glass and roller track is the way to go. I wanted to be sure. Does the top door trim and felt wiper for the 68 need to be used? It's also a rare item.

You will use your original 68 door seals. Why not find a vert door glass? They are out there. I have had plenty of them. Terry
