69 side pipes

Does anyone have experience with pipes from zip ,i dont know who zip has make them for there company, but my good friend put them on his 69 and they are the worst sounding pipes i have heard, to try and explain the sound is hard but ill try, they sound like someone shaking a bag of bolts, they certainly do not sound like midyear pipes, you all would be embarrassed to drive a car that sounded like this ,anyone know a good reliable source for 69 side exhaust pipes,his are the original type. thanks guys. Maybe a loose or broken baffle that is rattling? *NM*

69 side exhaust sound different with age as the internal muffler leaves the shell and it becomes an expansion chamber for the exhaust. With nothing left inside the mufflers really make some noise on full throttle operations.
