I could use some reccomendations for a reliable, careful, affordable company to transport a car from the Boston, MA, area to Long Island,NY. Anybody have some names? What would be a reasonable price for such a move? Thanks.

I can definitely recommend Jim Klinger, telephone 614-270-8773 (Ohio). He transported my '67 1100 miles. He hauls only two cars at a time in an enclosed trailer. He keeps you posted along the way, and he hit his arrival time within an hour (he was an hour early). He's meticulous, easy to deal with, and seems to genuinely love old cars. I paid about $1.35 per mile.
