The mega center does have A/C. I do not really know how to describe it other than saying it is pretty much like any other convention hall I've been in. In terms of the vendors, it seems to be mainly interior type parts, clothing vendors, and trinket vendors. Makes sense considering it is not easy to lug cylinder heads and water pumps indoors and outside gives you more space to spread out.
Geoffrey..the mega center and the special collection buildings are about the only air conditioned areas. Outside can be brutally hot.
Some pretty cool venders inside the mega center.
This years special collection which is right next to the mega center will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 57 Corvette..and the list of cars that will be on display..is very impressive.
Someone else..will need to advise..if NCRS has a booth..I would expect so.
There is a straight Axle convention the same week and I hear there is a special tribute to Noland.
Hope to see you there..I plan to bring some pretty neat items for the special collection display. You will want to take pictures for your photo archives.
The NCRS will have a tent between the lake and the judging field. A little cold water, shade, chairs, good friends. Stop by. I will post spot # when it is available.
