Getting my reservations for the New England July 6-7 Race weekend at Lime Rock, CT Race Park. A 1.37 mile picturesque track in the hills of horsey Litchfield County. Got a new ride for this event. Highly recommended if you want to circumvent the track and not be stuck in one spot. This is the 50th anniversary of Racing at the Rock. I'll be toasting the Rock with Rolling Rock.

Seek out and find the outstanding one - John Fitch - and pay him the tributes that anyone who has ever owned a Corvette owes him. If you buy him a beer/wine, I'll reimburse you........let's see, the budget seems to allow that somewhere around 2015....

I should be in Boston in July and Carlisle in August. However, I'm not planning to be at St. Charles. THREE Corvette events in 3 consecutive months is just too much for me. I need "balance" in my life. So, one had to go. Even the two have me a little worried about "Corvette burnout". I might do Bloomington again next year, though.

My travel papers are 100% in order for both trips. I've got my airline reservations/e-tickets, car rental, and hotel for the entirety of both trips completely covered and in my travel files.

Boston is not a city for driving CARS, let alone motor homes. Definitely one of the worst cities to drive in for the whole USA. However, that's mostly the "inner city"; the "outlying areas" (like Marlborough) are somewhat better (not great, but somewhat better).

Could the item pictured below have originated at Branford, CT? Does the shape of these pieces look like they could have been stamped from the scrap sheets you observed?
