1963 C2 Trim Tag Body Number

Hello,

I was wondering about a trim tag that I saw pictured for a 1963 Convertible for sale on eBay (Item #250109219993).

The serial number of this late production car is #21,483 but the body number on the trim tag shows #11,015!

Can someone please explain to me how this is body number 11,015 when only 10,919 convertibles were built for 1963?

I know there were many inconsistencies regarding trim tags, especially in 1963, but I don't recall ever seeing a body number so high (#11,015) for the year.

Is it possible that close to 100 'vert bodies were scrapped during production in '63 or is this just an error or perhaps even a fake tag?

Still have not taken the ride out yet but I have ordered new rubber and arranged for the headlight motor rebuild for when I do.
