    C1 Seat Back Springs

I have seen replacement springs for the seat bottoms. Are there any replacements for the seat backs? I have had a spring poking thru the seat cover and into my lower back for years via a tear in my britches. (I'm still procrastinating on the restoration) Some of the springs are broken and all of them are well fatigued after "supporting" my 260 lb rear. Does anyone refab the seat backs. I am assuming most upholstery shops would not be able to do it.

    Re: C1 Seat Back Springs

Typically the seat backs do not rust away like the bottoms so the demand is not there to justify repro's. I have not seen them in any of the catalogs.

However, they are not all that difficult to repair. I would imagine any good shop would be able to repair them. I mean if an amature can do it (me) a pro certainly could.

    Good Luck and Best Regards..............Mark
