1969 Radiator hoses; which ones?

I am almost finished replacing my heater core and I want to replace all of my hoses while I am at it. Looking through some of my catalogs it appears that the radiator hoses differ between a car with an aluminum radiator and one with the other style (not sure what that is right now). How can I check the type of radiator my car has? I want to make sure I order the correct hoses.

The only 69's that used an aluminum radiator were the following:

1) 300 hp with manual transmission;

2) some L-46, especially early;

3) L-88/ZL-1

ALL other 1969's used a copper/brass radiator. However, different copper brass radiators (and, different hoses) were used for small blocks and big blocks.

Also keep in mind that when you have (or haven't) power steering you need a different hose...

Not that I know of for any 1969. Radiator hoses are the same for all applications with or without power steering.

Joe, I believe early on there were two hoses. One w/o and one w/PS. They were replaced with the current one everyone uses.

I just checked on this in case my memory had failed on this one (as it has in so many other cases). I can't find any record of there ever having been different part numbers for the radiator hose for any 1969 Corvette application with and without N-40.

The upper hose for most 1969 427's, GM #331876, is a mid 70's replacement for the original hose, GM #3967433.

The lower hose, GM #3947868, is the same part as originally used for all 1969 big blocks, except L-88/ZL-1
