    '57 Door Final Adjustment Help

Need some secret hints on how to get the doors on my '57 to move forward about 1/8 of an inch. It's a '57 without the metal door hinge bracing as later in the year run. Door fit/gap has been adjusted with body shims. Door just needs to move forward slightly for better rear clearance. Have loosened all 6 door hinge bolts with the door proped up to proper height and shoved forward as far as the door will go, but it doesn't move forward. They are the original doors for the car.

Any and all ideas appreciated. Thanks in advance. Gary....
