64 Knock Off and Hammer for Judging

Notice in Noland Adams book two KO hammers existed, 1 with welds the next without.
The first, 3859067, changed by AIM dated 2-22-65 to 3871308 without weld!

Now the JG calls for no weld on a 64 which in conflict with the AIM.
Will be having car judged at National, so what type of documentation should I try to get in order not to loose points for a welded hammer??

Anyone have a copy of the AIM?

personally, wouldn't worry about it! if you lose any points, would only be ONE point AFAIK

Alan,

When having the car judged go by what the Judging Guide states, use the hammer without the welds, I did and did not loose any points. If you need a hammer to use for judging let me know, I'll send you mine to use at the national meet.

Mine is original, I've recast the lead several times.
