I have a set of what I think are original 67 carpets (they still have the Stevens tag on them). The cut-out for the seat tracks are four flaps on each side just covering the front and rear footprints where the mounting bolts go into the tracks. I am installing new carpets and the AIM and Judging Manual indicate (if I am interpreting them correctly)the cut-out flap is the entire length of the seat track rather than just the at the footprint areas. Which is the more correct cut-out pattern?
Thank You
Tim, could you post a photo of the cutouts? The judges look for a hinged flap on the front seat mounts only. Your description indicates the rear seat mounts are also hinged cutouts rather than just a cutout.
The cutouts are definitely NOT running the length of the track.
