Does anyone know the status of Jerry Clark in Florida who used to do some fantastic mid year restorations.
I e-mailed him and the e-mail came back as undeliverable.
Thanks,
Kurt # 26406
We e-mailed back and forth over the years, never met, but I always enjoyed the many pictures he sent me of cars he was working on. He told me he was legally blind, and I was embarrased that with his failed eyesight he could restore a Corvette far better than I ever would be able to with my two good eyes.
I know he is with his beloved Marti; he missed her terribly when she passed away. Jerry is no doubt telling Zora how he twisted the half shafts on the convertible he built for Marti because the shafts couldn't handle the power.
I saw the pictures, he bent them like pretzels.
The Corvette hobby has lost a great builder and restorer.

I remember him sending me pictures of that yellow Corvette as he was building it.
If truth be told, that is the way I would want to go, driving my Corvette which I restored, and I am not a mechanic. Labor of love.
Rest in peace Jerry.
