Lower plug wire hardware on 60 ?'s

I've never fooled with a small block straight axle or mid year with shielding much. I'm trying to put shielding and correct plug wires on my '60 and can't figure out where the lower clips go for the plug wires. I put em on under the guard bolts for the plug wires (the four quarter by 20 bolts in the side of the block that hold the head shield right over the plug wires). It looks right, but was reading last night and it refers to them as going under oil pan bolts. Are there supposed to be 2 or 4? (only got 2 in the parts I bought.

My 59 still has the original brackets, clips, etc, but it's crammed in tight storage between other cars and I can't get to it to look.

There should be two "M" shaped clips that mount under the oil pan bolts.

Thanks, so they're just used on 1 & 3, and 2 & 4 I guess???? Looks like it leaves the other 4 plug wires floppy by comparison, and into the clutch linkage on the left side.

No not really.Wires 5 & 7 and 6 & 8 are short and go straight (horizontial) back to the bracket. They do not sag enough to hit the linkage. Rich

I believe the little clippies go directly under...

...the block drain plugs.
