    C2 F41 in 1966

Was the F41 option available with the small block or was this a Big Block option only? I got a small block car with a 7 leaf rear spring and trying to confirm if its original to the car or was replaced. Thanks sincerely Brian

    Brian-----

According to GM, it was available only with L-72. However, I believe I've heard of it having been installed in other cars, including L-36. I don't know if it was actually installed in any small block-equipped cars, and I don't know if such applications would be judged NCRS-correct. I suspect that without documentation, it would not.

I tried to buy an F41 option on my fist 66 with L79, side exhaust, etc. It was declined by GM.
However dealers such as Harry Mann Chevrolet / Cadallac could have gotten you one maybe - they had a way to get the impossible.
If you don't have the orig. bill of sale, window sticker - go back to the 9 leaf you will enjoy it more.
