C2 Headlight Bucket Side-to Side Adjustment???

Hello,

I recently rebuilt the headlight motors on my '65. The left side headlight bucket has an interference rub between the outside of the headlight bucket and the body, inwards near the pivot shaft. I want to repair this before reinstalling the headlight motors.

The alignment and side-to-side gaps are almost perfect, how can this be adjusted to get rid of this rub without affecting the side-to-side gaps?

No way. Any side to side is going to show up in the gaps. But it is common for the inner gap to be wider than the outside to make room for the outwardly installed pivot on the inside.
