    Reproduction Teak Wheel and Bolt Ons

    Does anyone have a "review" of the level of authenticity of reproduction Teak steering wheels and bolt on (knockoff reproductions) wheels from Virginia Vettes. Does anyone have a recommendation of where the top quality reproductions of the above might be obtained for a 1966 Coupe...Thanks

      For a teak steering wheel I highly recommend Eric Freeman 704-510-2250.

          Second the Eric Freeman recommendation. I believe that VA Vettes are selling the Corvetta America reproduction wheels. Check the archives and I think that you will find the another company is now making wheels that are a lot closer to the originals.

              Dick,

              According to Virginia Vettes the "other " company located in Calif. has yet to produce a wheel. They are trying to get started but as yet have no real product.

              The Corvette America wheels have fins that are too wide compared to the original KH KO's. John Hinkley and others explained this in a very good pictorial comparison that can be found in the archives.
