Wanted: Firewall Insulation Set for '72 Vette

Everyone's got them on back order (and as I understand it only "one guy" makes them). Would anyone happen to have a spare set that I could purchase?

The tech board should stay focused on "tech" issues not requests for purchasing parts.

I'm also in the holding pattern for fire wall insulation as well (a month and a half)

I've been on this soap box before spouting the need for the NCRS to go to the next level and automate the Driveline. It could list both "Parts for sale" and "Parts Wanted"

Corvettes for sale could either follow the Driveline onto the tech board or be folded into the "Restorer"

The sanctioning body MUST have enough information on hand by now to give the membership some sort of rational as to why this can't happen

Sure would be nice wouldn't it.

Sure hope it is better quality than the mid year firewall insulation. It looks nothing like the original. Has a plastic "shell" over it, not the felt like OEM

I wish you luck. I have been trying for over a year for my 71. I was told about two weeks ago to expect it late summer. Fortunately, I work very slowly and am not ready for it.

I'm no where's near close to needing the fire wall insulation, that's why I placed the order now. I keep hearing the ordering horror stories.

Let's hope they get a tail wind and surprise you
