A collector in Dodge City, Kansas bought the car in 1967 put it in his warehouse with a tarp over it ..where it sat from 67 to 1999. He died and his wife sold off the collection.
I bought the car, repainted it white, new red interior, total professional engine and FI rebuild, new exhaust etc..
Now it belongs to a friend in Texas..who by the way may be selling it as he has another 57 that I sold him which was the 1st Bloomington Survivor 57.
If you are interested e-mail me and I will give you his number.
One of the previous owners between 57 and 67 owns a vineyard.
FYI...notice the 58 rear lenses. Incorrect but they look great against the white paint. A popular update in the 58/59 period. The car was otherwise stock except for added traction masters...and I think the cowl vent was glassed in.
