    C3 Windshield Washer Check Valve

I finally got the windshield and headlamp squirters working on my '69 today, but the check valve for the windshield squirters is not working. I checked the major vendors and could not find this part. Does anyone know who supplies this part?

Geoffrey, seems like a good opportunity to me.

          Have you tried Paragon?

They are my go to place for a lot of things. And for midyears, Long Island Corvette Supply. Jim Weeks - Member #2978

Yes on Paragon, Doc, CC and some of the others. Will try LIC, thanks!

              Pat-----

LIC won't have it; they carry only 63-67 Corvette parts unless, of course, a 63-67 part also happens to be the same for 68+ and/or 62 and older) and are seemingly proud of it (Corvette "snobs"?). The piece you are talking about, if I understand correctly what you're interested in, is a 1969-only piece.

Within the last few months, I THINK I saw somewhere that someone is now reproducing the 1969 washer pump, including the driver side "splitter valve". It's possible that this only occurred to me in a dream and it's become "reality" in my mind. However, as I recall, I was shocked when I saw it because I always figured that this was a piece that no one would ever reproduce. I probably underestimated some industrious fellows in the far east.

Unfortunately, if I did actually see it, it was some supplier that I don't recall. However, I very vaguely recollect that it was in Chevy/Corvette Trader.

I will run that down, thanks.

                  Joe -

I believe "Bel Air Bob" is reproducing the solenoid valve for the first-generation Camaro Rally Sport guys (same part as the Corvette). Don't have contact info, but a lot of his other stuff serves the tri-five Chevy guys, wherever they hang out.

If its the part that is the anti-drip solenoid for the headlight washers, Paragon carries this item under part number 12371. I think the price is about $190. If you need the solenoid only then Belair Bob carries that part separately.

Ralph, go to ebay and search seller belairbobs. I believe he is the vendor that John Hinckley is talking about. Most of the Camaro headlamp washer parts are the same as a Corvette.
