PV with radials?

I thought that I saw several cars at the Lowes Regional PV'g on radials? Is this allowed? Has NCRS backed off on the original bias ply in favor of the safer radials?

The radials fall under the "performance enhancing additions". The car MUST be have the OEM construction type tire on if i.e. bias on C-1, etc. The later C-3's ('73 and on) came with radials and must have radials mounted for PV

Dick,

I ws referring to a C2 -- which was furnished with OEM bias ply. Maybe I saw C3's and not C2's.
