He's in Niles, MI, and advertises in Hemmings. Lately he has been charging a fixed $125 for repairing '63-up AM-FMs. That fee covers necessary electronic parts, but not cosmetic pieces. He pays for return shipping, and he returns the bad parts that he has replaced.
He disassembles the radio, cleans/tests each component, and puts it back together. I've been very pleased with his work for the last 5-6 years. When I tell him I want a radio to look unrestored, he honors this request. But he prefers to make them all clean and shiney. Yes, he has done Wonderbars for me too, but I think he charges a little more for them now.
