    C1 speedometer face restoration

Who can you recommend to restore/repaint the speedometer face and rebuilt the speedometer for a '61 Vette. Is the odometer reproduced or should I use the original odometer (even though the numbers are cracked).

    Thanks.

I've used Roger Scott several times and would use again, 561-691-2905. Let him decide if odometer can be saved.

The odometer is repro'd. But, the "9" is slightly different. Available from Zip and others.

I had Roger do my tach - very good work.

Repros I've seen of the odometer were close, but no cigar--the white part of the numbers is slightly thinner than the originals.
GM Passenger cars in the boneyards from that vintage have identical odometers.
