premium body filler

Not to denigrate the 'Bondo' name. I came up short when checking the archives for info.

What is the best premium body filler to use for finishing out fiberglass body repairs? .. So far I've come up with Evercoat 870 and Tap Plastics '500' filler. The Tap Plastics '500' information says it can be used in automotive, marine, and industrial applications.

What have you guys used that worked well? ..

EVERCOAT #416 Metal glaze is a great product for small dings and final filler. It does not shrink and fills chips beautifully

Evercoat's Rage body filler is my #1 pick. There are several models of this product. Stay away from fillers like cathair, fiberglass impregnated filler (junk). Keep your filler to an absolute minimum. You want it to sand easily. If it doesn't, you will be cutting into the the fibergalss body. Use your primer surfacer to get a uniform build throughout your entire body. Primer surfacer #1 pick is Evercoat's Featherfill, NOT Slick Sand. Flows out like concrete even when thinned down with acetone as per the P sheets. Sorry, I've said too much. DG
