    63 engine bay

When routing the wire harness and overflow tank hose along the RH inner fender well, does the wire harness and the rubber hose have their separate plastic loops, or are they held in the same clips ?
Also, I understand, the early (Dec 62) build cards, had the wire harness routed inside (closer to center of car)the hood brace. Is the same true for the overflow hose ? The sketch in the IM shows the hose going on outside (closer to the outer fender)the hood brace.
Could someone clarify, or post pic ?

    Rainer,

This is a picture a 63 engine bay and you can see the wire harness and expansion tank hose routing on the pass side. There are also pictures in the Dobbins book if you have one.

I don't know much about the fine points of original cars. All three of my 63's have the hoses behind the hood support.

Tim, if you copy the Direct Link for Layouts

and put it in the Optional Image URL below, it will show up like this.

This one is a bit large, but it gives very nice detail. Of course, you have to be ready for the nitpicking about your car, like there is no shielding, the passenger wiper is missing, and so on. Gasp, is the windshield missing???

The easiest way is to claim it is a photo you have from a show or picked off of ebay or something.

It apears to me, that the wire harness and the overflow hose have their own respective clip, as seen in front of the alternator, correct ?
Also, will check, if I have the "Dobbins" book. I thought' I had all ther pertinent books for C-2 Corvettes.

Thanks everyone. Tim, I found my Dobbins book, must have read it 3 times before, but was not looking for specific detail then. It will stay on my coffee table for a while, has a lot of 63 details in it, good pic's always help.
Also, making good use of other books, specially Nolan's.
