    Please take a look. Are the colors and metals correct for this starter

    Here is a second photo of the starter with date code and manufacturer. Appears correct per the Tech Manual. Your thoughts. Also, if someone can tell me how to post two photos in one post, please let me know. Do you seperate the photos with a symbol ( ; or : or , etc...)

      Starter and solenoid should be all black....

      To post multiple photos just place the entire photo address in the body of the message....... rather than the "bar" at the bottom.

        Per the '67 tech manual the starter body is painted semi-gloss black and the front plate is natural steel. The solenoid appears correct as it is described as cad or zinc plated metal with a dark brown Bakelite front end.

                Hello;
                Your picture shows what appears to be the hex end of the top through bolt holding the starter together.
                The bolt should have a stud on which the starter bracket, to the engine block, fastens.
