    part numbers??

I have a flywheel GM part number 3873466 dated E51, it came with my project corvette parts boxes, but I'm not sure if it is even a Corvette part, can anyone tell me what it might fit? I also have a pulley, in a GM box part number 3838533 that I am not sure of as well. Thanks in advance.

    Matt------

I think that you will find that the number on the pulley box is 3858533. It can't be 3838533; that was a radiator retainer for 63-66 trucks. When reporting part numbers it's VERY important to get the numbers right. Anyway, the 3858533 pulley was widely used for Corvette small blocks in the 1965-80 range. It's also SERVICE for earlier than 1965. It was not used for all applications, but it was used for many.

The flywheel is likely GM casting #3973456. Casting numbers are very difficult to discern. What size is it? 14" or 12-3/4"?
