Does anyone make a correct dated and numbered AC compressor for a 1967 327/300hp vert?

Re: 1967 AC Compressor
Not to my knowledge... You have to 'make' it yourself by getting a correct rebuilt compressor (Delco Remy is one source as most of the others like NAPA simply supply compressors rebuilt to passenger car specs), then add the 'details' like reproduction foil label and as appropriate 'Chevy' inspection ink stamp (check the Long Island catalog)....- Top

Re: 1967 AC Compressor
Kirk,
If you go rebuilt A6 you can keep all the SAE type fasteners
If you go new A6 Delco you will have metric fasteners.
I went thru 2 rebuilts with leaky main seals before I "surrendered" and bought new A6 Delco.
Pay your money and takes your chances.

Re: 1967 AC Compressor
Haven't done it myself but I think it's do able. Rebuild your own good, clean A-6 original Compressor. Check out http://www.autoacforum.com/messagevi...&threadid=6974 and do a posting with this question. Great site! And be sure to use the Ceramic front Seal. Al W.- Top
