I brought up this issue before, but I am approaching it from a different way this time.
Is the mat shown here (from a 1960) a real (proper) one, or is is an incorrect repro?
Notice the notches for the jack handles, the smaller "ears", and only just a number stamped in the middle, no other markings.
I am hoping this is a correct one because on my '59 this type of mat is the one that works for the trunk, while the current repros have ears that are too big and don't allow the jack handles to sit on top of the mat. I know from my previous post that some other owners have this same problem.
