Does any one know this. I asked earlier today? I believe because my car is a 63 build date the there is no black on the catch. Not sure about the spring? I also believe the bolts are black! I also think the Krylon will to.
I have an early 64 car. build date of Nov. 63. It says in the NCRS judging Manual that the 63 catches are installed after blackout. Because my car was built in 63, does any part of my catch have to be painted black? The spring, the bolts, cable, or the flange on the catch it self? If so, and if I have to paint any part, will the Krylon 1613 Semi Flat work? Except the spring that says black Gloss? The springs are silver now. Not sure it there original, but if I had to guess I would say they are!
Thanks,
Sam
