C1 SPEDO CABLE

Can someone tell me the proper routing for the spedo cable on my 60? I ahve tried under, over, and between the LH wiper cables and they all could present chafing problems, but between the cables looks best. Am I right? Thanks, John Mc Graw

Just crawled under my dash to check for an answer. My Speedo cable does pass between the wiper cables. My generator tach cable makes a hard right turn and does not resting against the rear of the defroster duct assembly and heads off to the right side of the car. I can't tell you if this route is the "factory" configuration since I and probably countless others have had the dash out at times, but it works and doesn't rub.

I should have proof read my post. It may not have been clear, but the generator tach cable does rest against the rear of the defroster duct.
