The # 3 1963 Judging manual states that the coil is clamped in the brakcet with a cad or zinc plated slotted screw and weld nut. Does anyone with an original car have a hex head bolt instead of a slotted screw. I am working on a late 63 and I don't think that this bolt has been changed. Thanks in advance for your response.

John, Thanks for the response. Most originals that I have seen are the slotted round head also, But this old car is so "untampered" that I just had to question if others had seen the hex head also.

Dave, Anymore with this stuff I think that most anything was possible. If the bolt fit they used it to keep the line moving. I guess we would like our old cars to be assembled ABC according to hoyle but we all know they were not. John
