I have seen photo's (Vette Vues Fact Book '73-'77) of a front spoiler on a '73 LS4 with A/C which had a larger additional thin plastic/rubber spoiler pop riveted to the standard plastic spoiler. I have a '74 LS4 with A/C and would like to know if this additional spoiler was fitted to '74's also.

That added strip to the spoiler was added to LS4 with A/C after VIN 10722 for the 73 model year. That would have been in Jan 73. I assume that it would have carried over into 74 since the nose is the same.

The lower extension of which you speak was used on BOTH 73 and 74 Corvettes with LS-4 and A/C. It was GM #336176, but it is GM-discontinued. However, it is available in reproduction from Dr. Rebuild and, I'm sure, other vendors.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment
