The 67 JG says the housing has a date stamp. It says nothing about the carrier. My carrier also has a date stamp. The stamps are incomplete and/or worn to the point of being impossible to be sure what they say. Would it be far fetched to assume that they would be the same date? Does anybody know what font they are? The size seems to be 1/2 in.
They were the standard day date year roll over stamp. Most of the stamps were smeared or unevenly stamped so yours are probably just like when stamped.
As Kevin stated, but the stamp is not 1/2 inch high; its more like 3/16. I had a stamp made with the date for about $3, because I couldn't find a roll stamp with 1967 on it.
I've seen, on some, a part number that is about 1/2 in high but the judging manual doesn't mention that.
