    67 springs

I want to replace the front springs on my 67 L71 and wonder if anyone can recommend a good source and advise me on what details I should look for. It has F41 suspension.

    Thanks.

    Re: 67 springs

Firstly on an F-41 car are you sure they are needed? The F-41 sits lower by design than the standard car. There is a measurement process in the service manual with specs for both, check that first, as the F-41's generally don't sag like the std springs.

I agree. I'd check for conformance to specs first. I really doubt that they need replacement.

If, by chance, you are assessing the need based on a "rough ride", that's what you can expect with F-41.

My car sits low in the front and thats why I'm thinking of replacing the springs.

Again, visually, or measured on a flat surface to the appropriate reference point on the front suspension. The F-41 is generally a little low in front. Chevk the service manual for the proper specs.
