    1973 brake rotors

Hello, Today a customer dropped off his 1973 conv. to have new front brake
pads and calipers replaced. While resurfacing the rotors on the spindles, I
noticed the rotors had the extra hole to adjust the parking brake. Further
inspection identified them as rear rotors. Are these rotors interchangable?
The owner states that they have been on the car for at least six years.
Thank you in advance for any and all advice.

I believe that the rear rotors can be used on the front without any problems. However, if a front rotor is used for the rear (rotor only; not with hub, of course), then some additional machining has to be performed.
