I have a '77 with what appears to be enamel paint on it. I am going to remove this and sand the car. I am a novice to say the least but can't afford a professional to do it. Do I use lacquer paint? What kind of primer? I have a person who is experienced that will paint it for me if i do the rest. thanks
rick my girlfriends dad bought and fixed up a 1980 corvette and i know he used lacquer primer and paint. he did it all himself and it looked pretty sharp when he got done. i wish you luck with your car.
