Carb & common w/ Camaro parts Source
Not sure where CC gets theirs, but I found mine on eBay for a mere $152.50. Correct numbered / dated etc. The guy who sold it is a vintage Camaro dealer. Make sure you get Steve personally, because somehow he can get his hands on stuff the regular counter/phone guys say isn't in inventory. He's a really nice guy to deal with too. He isn't into vettes, so that burden lies on you, but he'll tell you what he's got with no games. Tell him Juliet said Hi. (Nah, no kickbacks or anything like that... he'll probably just get a chuckle out of it is all).

Anyways, that's where I found an unrestored TCS solenoid for a great price with reliable overnight shipping too (unlike the CC saga). The TCS was the same exact part / number / bracket... or so I've been told & the judges agreed.
BTW, not sure about your particular application, but Many of the Q-jets for 70's anyways were also built by Carter for Rochester. They use a letter/number date code instead of the Julian one. For some reason, even though it's well documented in the NCRS manuals many folks overlook these, or assume they're forgeries or not "correct", including some of the "bigger" suppliers who have many $$$ Q-jets. Ha, I recall a lively discussion (with someone who should know better) who insisted that Carter didn't make any Q-jets for 70s. I guess he couldn't handle the fact that a gal might know more than him... he certainly wasn't hearing any of it from me! LOL! Anyways, they're out there, and you can sometimes snag a deal on the Carter built ones. ~Juliet
