Does anyone know the length of the hold down bolt? I have bought a reproduction and when I try to install with the clamp edge pointing down, the bolt will not catch. When I flip the clamp the other way, the bolt works but it does not grab the battery.

The original bolt had 1-1/4" of thread and was a self-piloting (i.e. pointed tip) bolt. The clamping edge should be down (i.e. below) with respect to the bolt seating surface.
