I received a 68 Voltage Regulator today from John Pirkle that was completely restored by him.
Nice enough to put on the coffee table in the living room.
You all probably already know this , but John does nice work.
I now have his alternator, starter , and voltage regulator in my 68.
Almost too nice to use.
Kurt
John has supplied me with the correct starter, alternator, voltage regulator, and horn relay for my '68 too. He is very knowledgeable, does great work in a timely fashion for a fair price.

I had just e-mailed John about a Voltage Regulator for my 67 right before I saw your post. I'm waiting to hear back from him. If you don't mind me asking what price range was your VR? I'm heading to Bloomington next week-end so I figured I'd run into him up there.
My wife and I recently, on the way to the Regional in Charlotte, had the pleasure of visiting the Pirkles. After touring Augusta as well as their shop I must say that their hospitality and business ethics are better than their product. Which to me is of the highest standard.
I sent him my orig regulator off of my '62 FI car and when I got it back it was so pretty that I wrapped it up and put it away with my radio and orig jack.....I really need help......John
