I need to replace the PCV grommet on my 1969 L-36 and the Chevrolet P&W catalog was not much help. Seems there are two different sized grommets. The outside diameter of both are the same; however, the inside diameter is different. The smaller one is for the left hand side cover, and the larger (the one I need) is for the right hand side (intake side).
Joe Lucia mentioned that the right side grommet was originally GM#3933188 -- which was discontinued years ago. He mentioned that in 1972 it was replaced by #3894337, which can be used as a plug or a grommet. When used as a grommet the center portion must be cut away. FYI, the right side grommet is GM#398937.
