U Joint Part 7806140 ??

Can someone tell me if this number for a GM u joint is for a corvette and if so what application? I can't find it in any of my books but I understand these numbers changed up quite a bit.

GM #7806140 u-joints has MANY 65-75 Chevrolet applications, but was never cataloged by GM for any Corvette application. This part was also used for many other GM vehicle applications. It was discontinued quite a few years ago and replaced first by GM #26042371 and, later, GM #12471502. Both of those are now discontinued, too. There may be another replacement number now; I'm not sure and it's not really worth the effort to find out since it's really an "academic" point.
