    1957 Dateline Daytona Video - For PC Users

    A number of PC users have had problems opening the 1957 Daytona video I posted. To make things easier, I created a special Windows version. 6.8mb in size.

      Russ I was excided to see this post as I was one of those that couldn't open it...............unfortunately I now get a " this web site cannot be found" for this one...................?????????????????

              neat i was there in1957

              GM gave us analine to put in the gasoline to help with detonation in 1957 but we still burned a piston just like smokeys car did in the beach race. i believe the 57 FI units has a feature that shut off the fuel when coasting and this may have caused the prblem. the gasoline company gave everyone free gas every day if you paid $10 to join NASCAR to run the time trials.
