    C-1 Windshield Post

    Have a 59 & 60 and the windshield post on drivers side has round hole for the round pin on the convertable top frame and an elongated hole on the pass. side. Is this correct? Thanks in advance

      Jerry:

      It is..I've got a '58 with the same configuration and was told that's the way it is supposed to be--I think it's for the hard top receiving bolt.

          I'm no expert, but I think it is for the "exact" tollerances built into the cars between all of the windshield headder parts and all of the convertible bow parts; the elongated hole allowed for some "play" in all thoes dimensions...

                  Are all C1 56-62 posts the same? I know the door posts are different.
