    c2 power steering adjustments

Does anyone out there know if the PS on 67 can be adjusted to give a more firm
feel. Mine is so soft, its easy to over steer. I actually like the non PS feel much better. I'm considering removing the PS belt if I can't make some adjustment.

    Walt,

Double check to be sure the outer tie rod ends are in the front holes on the steering arms.

The only adjustment I know of on the C2 and C3 power steering Corvettes is to balance the power steering valve. Wider tires on you 67 might help with your soft steering. Before you remove the belt, go to a large vacant parking lot and with the car moving turn off the engine and see how you like steering without the power assisted steering. You are going to also have the resistance of the non operating power steering piston.
