Does anyone have any good tips on installing door gaskets with the doors on? The front of the door is a problem.

Re: C2 roadster door gaskets
I just did my right door, with it attached, on my '66 roadster last night. I've never done WS before so this was a learning experience. The only problem area was getting the adhesive by the door hinges. Make sure that you start in both upper corners and work towards the middle so that if the WS is a little long, you can cut it in the middle and it won't be seen or worse, not seal.
I started on the hinge side at the top. I squeezed a bead where I could get the tube on the door and set about 10 inches of the WS, holding it in place with blue painters tape. (I alternated from side to side but I'll just explain the hinge side now.) I then used a cheap brush, the one with a few bristles attached to a rolled metal shaft. (Like a solder flux brush. You can buy them almost anywhere for a few pennys). Using the brush, I applied the adhesive to the door until I got past the hinges. After that, it was no big deal. Apply the blue tape liberally to let everything setup where it should be. After about an hour or so, I removed the tape and shut the door to finish the set.
Just follow the instructions on the box for the WS adhesive. I used 3M's and it sticks real good. It's rather difficult to work with, but as you do, you'll quickly get the hang of it.....
Hope this helps......
